Upon the annexed affirmation of Dan Quart, Esq., the affidavit attested to by Roosevelt Island Residents’ Association (RIRA) President Steven Marcus, Vice President Margie Smith and various other members of the Roosevelt Island Residents’ Association and residents of Roosevelt Island, and the accompanying Memorandum of Law;

LET Respondents ROOSEVELT ISLAND OPERATING CORPORATION (RIOC), MEPT OCTAGON LLC, GOTHAM CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LLC, (collectively, “Respondents”), or their attorneys SHOW CAUSE at an IAS Part ____ of this Court, to be held at the Courthouse located at 60 Centre Street in the County of New York, State of New York, on March _____ 2005, at                   or as soon thereafter as counsel can be heard, why an order should not be entered, preliminarily enjoining Respondents from performing any construction work on the premises on, in and around the Octagon Apartment Project area, located on Roosevelt Island, New York                   

 

GOOD AND SUFFICENT CAUSE APPEARING THEREFORE, be it

ORDE RED, that personal service upon Respondents ROOSEVELT ISLAND OPERATING CORPORATION (RIOC), MEPT OCTAGON LLC, GOTHAM CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LLC of a copy of this order, the Petitioners’ supporting papers and Memorandum of Law on or before March ______ 2005, shall be deemed sufficient and good service.
