Assault 12/1, apt., 560 Main St. PSD and NYPD officers responded to apt. for aided with stab wound. Officers saw female standing, and a male with a stab wound to left leg lying on floor. Male said he had been walking on street when two unknown males stabbed him with unknown metal object. Victim gave vague account of incident. Victim gave vague account of incident. Search was conducted with negative results. Robbery 12/7, rear hall, 580 Main St. Male resident in-house stated he and male perp were talking about victim buying new coat, when perp brandished a gun, took US$112 from victim and fled towards unknown direction, warning victim that he knew his address. Victim waited approx. 15 minutes before coming to PSD, because he was afraid. NYPD notified. All PSD officers advised and search of island was conducted. NYPD responded. Victim identified perp. Canvass of area by NYPD proved to be negative. Victim was transported to 114th Pct. to speak with detectives. 12/10, lobby, 540 Main St., Arrest. RIHM employee in-house, informed officer that a possible robbery suspect was at scene. Officers responded, apprehended perp., escorted him to PSD. Perp was wanted for previous robbery (12/7/2) of male resident. NYPD, 114th Pct. detective from Robbery Squad was notified, responded and took custody of perp. Criminal Mischief 12/1, Motorgate, 688 Main St. Male resident phoned PSD, stated his car was vandalized; upon responding, officer saw two tires had been slashed. Victim refused NYPD. Officer searched Motorgate with negative results. 12/5, Vernon Blvd., Queens, off-Island. Female in-house, reported her car was broken into at location. NYPD prepared criminal mischief report. 12/13, 4th fl. hall, 560 Main St. Officer responded to scene and found inner glass window shattered, with broken glass on sill/ carpet, and searched stairwells W, Q, P on 4th floor front/rear with negative results. RIHM service personnel at scene. 12/13, 4th fl., 580 Main St. While officer was responding to 4th floor hall for youths at scene he observed ceiling light plastic cover broken into five pieces, which he disposed of; officer searched floor and building for perps. with negative results. Aggravated Harassment 12/7, apt., 560 Main St. Officers responded to female residents apt., who complained that another female resident constantly phones her. Officers warned both parties to stay away from one another. NYPD refused. 12/7, apt., 560 Main St. Officer received phone call with Cross Complaint about the above. 12/8, apt., 560 Main St. One of the same females involved in above incidents again contacted PSD; stated the perp threatened to obtain order of protection against her. 12/8, st., 580 Main St. Officers responded to scene relating to youths throwing ice balls at male resident. Youths were escorted to PSD. NYPD responded and officer spoke with parents relating to the matter. Officer issued two Juvenile Reports. Matter referred to Youth Officer 12/9, apt., 4 River Rd., past (aggravated). Female in-house stated shed been verbally harassed on 12/7 by non resident male, claiming hed phoned her threatening to kill her. Victims sister removed her and infant child from apt. Victim was advised by neighbor male had been there banging at her door on Sunday. She is afraid, will get order of protection and will go to 114th Pct. 12/10, apt., 555 Main St. Female phoned, stated a female phoned her apt. wanting money she said is owed to her. Victim does not know person. Victim was advised to contact NYPD. Found Property 12/5, video store, 544 Main St. Video store employee in-house, stated hed found a womans wallet, and turned it over to the Duty Officer Wallet had no ID nor any currency, just two check books. Bank was notified and checks were cancelled, and secured at PSD. 12/12, street, 510 Main St. Anonymous female surrendered a cellular phone to Duty Officer, which was secured at PSD. A male was contacted, who said he thought it belonged to a co-worker and he would inform him. Investigation 12/3, apt., 580 Main St. RIHM Genl. Mgr. in-house requesting escort for female resident. Former stated tenant had entered into an illegal sublease with sub-tenant and was dissolving agreement. Lease holder requested access to apt. to verify and survey property, furniture. She was given access, noticed top lock had been changed and noted damage to furniture. Both parties referred to RIHM for arrangements to vacate premises. 12/7, apt., 580 Main St. NYPD detective in-house requesting to see video cameras of 580, because an armed robbery had occurred at scene. Tape was taken to 114th Pct. to be returned later. 12/8, west seawall, 531 Main St. Male youth in-house, stated six underage youths had thrown ice balls at him, which struck his back, forehead and head, and had then fled. EMS refused. He also stated hed notified his parents, who told him to speak with tennis supervisor (the latter knows the youth) who will speak with their parents. Matter referred to Youth Officer. 12/10, apt., 540 Main St. Officer responded to escort senior citizen from apt. Female complained that for past two weeks a heavy-set teenager has been knocking at her door at night stating she was taking donations for Christmas gifts for charity and that other people have complained they had had the same thing happen to them. Youth Officer informed about incident. 12/14, east seawall, 500 Main St. Female in-house, stated that, while jogging, a male was walking in same location and appeared to be suspicious, although he never said anything to her. Officer searched area with negative results. 12/14, apt., 546 Main St. Officer responded to scene on behalf of daughter of senior resident without phone service for days and contacted phone provider, who stated they would correct same on 12/14, which was not done. Officer notified daughter, who lives in Westchester, and informed her mother is all right now. Seniors social worker informed. Lost Property 12/6, bakery, 546-A Main St. Female phoned PSD, said shed left her sons hat unattended at a table, when she returned it was not there. Officer searched for hat with negative results! Missing Property 12/6, unknown. Female resident in-house, stated she had lost her purse, but did not remember when and where. She has a son who lives at Rivercross. Officer responded to scene, concierge known the afore-mentioned and said that mother often visits. Victim was escorted to her own apt. by officer. 12/14, breezeway front of 560 Main St. Officers noticed that two reindeer were missing from scene. They searched area with negative results. Noise Complaint 12/7, apt., 531 Main St. Female in-house, complaining about neighbor making loud noise in her apt. This is long standing situation. Both residents were referred to Rivercross Management. Reckless Endangerment 12/7, lobby, 560 Main St. Officer responding to youths throwing snow balls had patrol car in which they were riding struck. Another officer stated hed seen approx. 10 youths fleeing area, gave chase and apprehended them. Parents were contacted and youths released. Smoke Condition 12/2, 3 laundry, 540 Main St. Officers responded to scene where there was smoke emanating from four machines. RIHM service man unplugged machine. Windows were opened to disperse smoke. 12/11, street, 625 Main St. Anon. female informed officer there was crackling noise and smoke emanating from manhole cover; 911 was notified. PSD officers responded as well as FDNY. Traffic was stopped; ConEdison was notified, personnel to respond ASAP; they responded and pumped salt out of manhole. Same condition was reported on 12/8. ConEd was notified, but never responded. 12/13, hall, 546 Main St. Officer responded to scene for smoke condition, no damage incurred. Suspicious Male with Gun 12/6, front of elev., 580 Main St. Female phoned PSD and reported her son and two guests had run into their apt. and complained that a gun-wielding unknown male had approached them. They stated NYPD was already en-route. Officer checked elevator cameras for perp with negative results. Reporter further stated perp was last seen on 4th floor walking towards elevators. NYPD and nine other officers responded and a search was made. 12/7, hall near elev., 580 Main St., follow-up. Two non-resident males only known by their first names reviewed video tape re: previous days incident, during which they were observed speaking with perp in elevator. Officer responded to reporters apt. and her son stated hed been robbed at gun point by male, whom he identified. Officer was able to also identify the perp who is known to PSD. Officer saw NYPD enter elevators and continue to search with victims. Subsequently NYPD Robbery Squad responded to PSD, reviewed tape. PSD officers and NYPD responded to a tip that perp had probably been seen at 2 River Rd. apt., but they received no reply. NYPD requested keys to apt. from Manhattan Park maintenance personnel who responded. While opening apt. NYPD Robbery Squad members thought theyd heard unknown person lock bottom lock of apt. NYPD 114th Pct. Inspector and Captain responded with Robot K-9. ESU gained entry with negative results. PSD officer spoke with RIHM General Mgr., who stated the tapes do not have audio. Victim stated the gun was a small black semi-automatic weapon with wooden grip (possibly a 380). Unsecured Premises 12/7, bus garage, 688 Main St. Officers responded to scene, noticed gate was jammed. They tried to force it open but were unsuccessful. They locked and secured same. 12/7, Sportspark, 250 Main St. Officer on patrol observed the front door of Sportspark partially open, checked interior, found all in order, secured facility. 12/11, water tunnel, 801 Main St. While on patrol near the new dock area on West seawall, a fence at the water tunnel site was down, and a fence at the soccer field was also down. Trespass 12/9, hall, 546 Main St. Officers respond to scene. Upon arrival, underage male youth was asked to leave premises, but refused to follow order. ID was requested/supplied. Officer notified parent, older brother in house, was advised of occurrence. Youth released to brother. Youth officer notified. Vehicle Accident 12/6, east seawall, 900 Main St. While patrolling, officer noticed vehicle in snow- covered grassy area that appeared to have struck East seawall post. He also observed female walking towards Coler (employee.) She advised shed lost control of car because of slippery road condition and that shed hit her head; 911 was called, NYPD and EMS responded. Aided was transported to Mt. Sinai. Her vehicle was towed. East seawall did not sustain any damage! RIOC Maintenance supervisors at scene. 12/14, breezeway, 560 Main St. Physically challenged female informed officer that a male had tapped her wheelchair with his vehicle. Although not injured she called 911, FDNY replied, EMT examined victim, who refused to be transported to hospital. NYPD prepared report.
