Class of Island Tour Guides Completes Course
The first class of Tour Guides trained by the Roosevelt Island
Historical Society (RIHS) posed with their certificates last
weekend after completing their test tour. RIHS President Judith
Berdy (at left) handled the training. The graduates are, left to
right, Susan Bellrose, Marlene Flom, Mosud Mannan, Ethel Romm,
Veronica Shea, Irene Clark and Mary Schoen. (Not present for the
photo were Jane Foge and Susan Waide.) More RIHS members are
